Design Notes:
This Thredbo ski lodge renovation transformed a cold, dated interior into a warm Australian alpine retreat with subtle Japanese influences. The design responds to the surrounding landscape through a grounded palette of green, white, black, timber and tan leather, creating a calm and inviting holiday home. In-floor heating, a double-height fireplace and a soaker tub bring warmth and comfort to winter stays, while durable finishes ensure the home works equally well for family use and short-term rental.
