How I Work
Successful projects begin with clarity.
I take time to understand how you want your space to feel and function, then translate those ideas into a cohesive, practical design.
My work sits between interior decoration and construction, combining design thinking, technical documentation and practical judgment. Layouts, materials, joinery and key details are considered together, allowing decisions to be resolved before they reach site.
Design is developed as a complete response to your space—not assembled from individual references or products found online.
A Structured Design Process
Projects are developed in clearly defined stages:
Concept Design
Understanding your priorities and establishing the overall direction—how the space should feel, function and come together.
Design Development
Testing and refining layouts, materials, fixtures, furniture and joinery while considering how each decision affects the wider project.
Documentation
Preparing drawings, schedules and specifications that clearly communicate the design intent to builders, joiners and suppliers.
Each stage builds on the last. This allows decisions to be made with confidence and gives everyone involved clearer direction before construction begins.
Coordination
Liaising with builders, joiners, suppliers and other project contributors to clarify design details, communicate decisions and keep the different elements aligned.
Procurement
Obtaining quotations and managing approved orders for selected furniture, fixtures, finishes and other items, including lead times and delivery information where required.
A Note on Process
The most successful projects are those where design and construction are aligned from the start.
Part of my role is to identify the details and relationships that may not be immediately obvious—particularly where one unresolved decision could affect cost, coordination or the finished outcome later.
When decisions are left to be made on site, they are often rushed. Bringing clarity earlier reduces uncertainty and helps the project move forward with purpose.
Where work is already underway, I may recommend pausing to resolve key design elements before continuing.

I interpret your priorities and communicate them clearly to the people responsible for delivering the project.
I collaborate with clients, builders, joiners and suppliers as required, keeping communication purposeful while maintaining a clear design direction from start to finish.
Selections are made as part of the overall design—not sourced independently and applied later. This creates an interior that feels cohesive and considered, rather than a series of individual decisions made in isolation.
