How I Work
Successful projects begin with clarity.
I work in a structured way to resolve layouts, materials and key decisions before construction begins — so the process runs smoothly, and the outcome is considered, cohesive and well executed.
Design is developed as a complete response to your space — not assembled from individual references or products found online.
How I Work
Projects are developed in clearly defined stages:
Concept Design
Establishing the overall direction — how the space should feel, function and come together.
Design Development
Refining layouts, selecting materials and fixtures, and resolving key details.
Documentation
Preparing drawings, schedules and specifications so the builder has clear direction on site.
Each stage builds on the last, allowing decisions to be made with confidence and reducing the need for changes during construction.
A Note on Process
The most successful projects are those where design and construction are aligned from the start.
When decisions are left to be made on site, they are often rushed and can impact both cost and outcome. My role is to bring clarity early, so the project can move forward with direction.
Where projects are already under construction, I may recommend pausing to resolve key design elements before continuing.
Working Together
I collaborate closely with clients, builders and suppliers throughout the process, while maintaining a clear design direction from start to finish.
Selections are made as part of the overall design process, rather than sourced independently and applied later.
This approach allows for a cohesive outcome — rather than a series of individual decisions made in isolation.
