Booking Terms + Conditions
Effective Date: 9 July 2026
These Booking Terms & Conditions apply to all services purchased through the Donna Vercoe Design online shop. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these terms.
1. Booking Your Service
Your booking is confirmed once payment of the required deposit or full payment (as applicable) has been successfully received through the online checkout.
Following your purchase, Donna Vercoe Design will contact you within one business day to confirm your project details and arrange a mutually convenient consultation date.
2. Deposits
A deposit is required to secure your booking and will be credited towards the total cost of your selected service.
Deposits are non-refundable, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
3. Balance Payments
The remaining balance will be invoiced following completion of the deliverables (such as your floor plan, written recommendations or other agreed documentation) included in your selected service.
Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Consultation Scheduling
Consultation appointments are arranged by mutual agreement following your booking.
Appointments are offered during normal business hours unless otherwise agreed.
While every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred timing, appointment availability cannot be guaranteed until confirmed.
5. Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule your consultation, please provide as much notice as possible.
Requests made with at least 48 hours' notice will generally be accommodated, subject to availability.
Donna Vercoe Design also reserves the right to reschedule an appointment due to illness, emergencies or circumstances beyond reasonable control. If this occurs, an alternative appointment will be arranged as soon as practical.
6. Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your booking, please notify Donna Vercoe Design by email or phone as soon as possible.
Where a refund is applicable, any non-refundable payment processing fees charged by the payment provider may be deducted from the refund amount, where permitted by law.
Deposits are non-refundable, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
7. Travel
On-site consultations are generally provided within the Sydney metropolitan area.
Where travel outside the standard service area is required, additional travel charges may apply. Any additional costs will be discussed and agreed before the appointment is confirmed.
8. Client Responsibilities
To help make the consultation as productive as possible, clients are asked to:
provide accurate contact details;
ensure reasonable access to the property;
advise of any access restrictions, parking requirements or site considerations;
have any relevant plans, inspiration images or project information available if applicable; and
ensure decision-makers are present where practical.
provide a safe and accessible environment for the consultation.
9. After Your Booking
Following your consultation, Donna Vercoe Design will prepare the deliverables included in your selected service and provide them within the agreed timeframe.
Timeframes may vary depending on project scope and current workload. If an estimated completion timeframe has been provided, every reasonable effort will be made to meet it.
Should you wish to proceed with additional design services beyond your purchased consultation, a separate proposal or agreement may be provided.
10. Additional Services
The purchased consultation covers the service described on the relevant product page.
If, following your consultation, you would like Donna Vercoe Design to provide additional design services, documentation or ongoing design support, these services will be quoted separately and are subject to a separate agreement where applicable.
11. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing within these Booking Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation.
12. Changes to These Terms
Donna Vercoe Design may update these Booking Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The version in effect at the time your booking is made will apply to your purchase.
