Rose Bay Strata Updates
Project
Rose Bay Strata – Modernist Common Areas Refresh
Project Type
Strata / Apartment Block (Common Areas)
Location
Rose Bay, NSW
Concept
Modernist, geometric
Design Notes
As the building shifted from rental-heavy to more owner-occupied, the common areas were ready for a thoughtful refresh. The brief was to update shared spaces while staying true to the building’s original Modernist architecture by Hans Peter Oser.
A restrained palette of black, white and grey with touches of brass was used to create a cohesive, geometric language across interior and exterior spaces. The scope included interior and exterior colour consultation, new carpeting and furniture internally, along with refreshed landscaping and signage externally — creating a calm, contemporary identity that could be rolled out progressively over time.
